Superhero
For my narrative superhero story, I decided my character “Mia” to be a normal person.
I wanted the character to be very relatable to readers.
However, throughout Mia’s life she has been bullied.
In love with comics and anything superhero, is a way for Mia to escape her world.
Mia is very shy and keeps to herself at school. Not considered to be the most popular or the best dress, but will later transition.
Like any other teen dealing with parents in the morning and early school traffic. Connecting Mia to the reader is key. Which can help the reader pick the best choices for Mia.
Also, the setting of the story is based in a small town called Springfield. With only four people in the story including Mia, her mother, the bully and her teacher are the only characters in the story.
When Mia gifted her powers her life takes a dramatic shift.
Waking up with excitement and courage to dress drastically different.
From being able to fly to school and miss all that headache traffic really highlighted Mia’s day.
I wanted to really focus on the small things and how small things can make us so happy.
I also chose Mia to have “Wonder Woman’s” power.
Wonder Woman symbolizes the strength, courage and Empathy Mia has.
Throughout the story you will see Mia transform into someone different.
The moral of the story is to always be the bigger person.
Even when someone like Mia is being bullied, you should never bully someone else.
